“Eddie” - Bay Thoroughbred Gelding 15
Eddie is a bay Thoroughbred gelding and a Champion Western Pleasure horse. He was an arena horse for years, has now passed his 30th trail ride, and is leading the pack. He knows the rules and does almost everything automatically. This is why he suffers from performance anxiety. Eddie wants to please but can easily be over worked.
Eddie has a lot to offer to the gentle rider who has soft and quiet hands with little leg pressure. He can only be ridden by experienced riders. Rita Mc Donald has qualified to be his first outside rider. Eddie is kind and sweet. Like Girello he has a back injury that gives him difficulty when working with his feet. Eddy has thin walled hooves, typical to some thoroughbreds – and needs special shoes.
