“Girello” - Seal Bay Warmblood Gelding 20

Girello, also known as “King of the Ranch” is a Seal Bay Dutch Warm Blood Gelding.  He rides bareback or dressage saddle only. Girello is a 4th level dressage champion and 3rd level Blue Ribbon. He was used up by a trainer in LA and retired at 16. The owner felt bad and asked me to rescue him so “he could be a horse again.” 

Girello is one of our top schoolers. Rides trail, English and dressage with ease, he offers a kind and gentle spirit for those learning to ride, and serves all levels of riders. He has “string halt” which is typical to draft horses.  It’s not painful but can appear to be uncomfortable.  He is a wonderful ride. Read more.
