“Vinny” - Sorrel Quarterhorse Gelding 18

Vinny is a sorrel Quarter Horse gelding. The “VIN” came from the Black Butte String. He was donated by Patty Long and is the second horse Wendy Rightmire leased after the loss of our dear Honey in March of 2009. Vinny has been used for cattle work and loves the cows!   

We discovered consistent wounds on his front fetlocks and after a lot of research we found out he’s narcoleptic.  It’s best to turn him out where he can lie down; otherwise he falls down when he sleeps standing.  Vinny can take all levels of riders for trail or arena work and games. Anyone can ride the gentle giant. Vinny loves treats so have a pocketful of them for him!
