Lavender
Aromatherapists use lavender in inhalation therapy to treat headaches, nervous disorders, and exhaustion. Herbalists treat skin ailments, such as fungal infections, wounds, eczema, and acne, with lavender oil. It is also used in a healing bath for joint and muscle pain.

Bees
Bees have cultural and environmental importance as pollinators and producers of honey and medicinal products. The movement of pollen between plants is necessary for plants to fertilize and reproduce. Both farmed and wild bees control the growth and quality of vegetation — when they thrive, so do crops.

Trees
The 2021 trees include a Japanese Pine and Blood Good Maple that will provide an amazing show of color through Spring & Fall. Flowering Pear & Plum. Golden Chain. Aspens sound like the ocean an arms length away. Major benefit, trees help to produce oxygen and clean carbon dioxide put of the air.

Grasses
With 17 acres of irrigation, it’s our responsibility to create green meadows and grazing turn outs with beneficial purposes.
NE corner, 2 1/2 acres, 2021 we worked with Water & Soil Conservation to plant drought resistant seeds. It failed to take. 2022 we re-seeded w pasture grass.

Winter 2022-23 provided snow & rain. YAY. A new K-Line is ordered and we’ll be ready for irrigating by April. 2 1/2 pounds of pollinator seed will be planted in late Spring in the same area.
